An adverse reaction is a harmful and unwated reaction to a health product, OTC medications; natural health products; biotechnology products, vaccines, fractionated blood products, human blood and derivatives, disinfectants, cosmetic products (Cosmetovigilance) and medical devices (Materiovigilance).

This includes any adverse reaction due to an abuse, an overdosage, or an interaction (drug-drug interaction and drug-food interactions).

Reporting is voluntary for the general population, but is mandatory for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and dentists 

All suspected or identified side effects should be reported, especially those that are:

- unexpected, regardless of their severity;

- serious, whether expected or not;

- reactions to a health products, regardless of their nature or severity

We, at Medica RCP, are centralizing the data.

A copy of these forms will be forwarded to the concerned Laboratories and all the forms will be forwarded to our National Pharmacovigilance Center
